Summer Sundays and RibFest headline the concert season
Port Moody’s free Summer Sundays concert series kicks off at Rocky Point Park on Sunday, July 5, with live bands taking the waterfront stage at 2 p.m. most Sundays through the summer.
The series leads into Port Moody RibFest, running July 17 to 19, also at Rocky Point — a Rotary Club-hosted weekend of barbecue competitions, craft breweries and live music that’s become one of the city’s biggest summer draws.
Council has also moved to support live music indoors, recently approving $2,700 a year from the city’s Arts Reserve to back the Inlet Theatre Music Series — a smaller but steady addition to Port Moody’s arts calendar.
